ABOUT THE MODERATORS/SPEAKERS:

Christine Brodeur, Public Relations Lead, Pacific Southwest, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP
Christine is a marketing professional who has worked with more than 100 established and emerging-growth companies throughout her 17-year career. The majority of her work has focused on companies within the technology, entertainment and new media sectors.

She currently serves as a leader on the national PR team of Deloitte & Touche and is head of PR for its Pacific Southwest region. Christine is credited with significantly increasing the quality and quantity of media coverage for Deloitte across a range of industry sectors, and last month was the recipient of a Bronze Anvil award from the Public Relations Society of America.

She came to Deloitte after serving as director at global PR agency Burson-Marsteller and, prior to that, as CEO of Socket Media, a marketing communications agency specializing in M&E, technology and consumer products. Christine has also worked at Murphy O'Brien and Schwartz Communications. Prior to that, she spent six years conducting U.S. and international marketing for Brown University and Oberlin College, and worked as a journalist for several New England newspapers.

Christine has served as marketing chair of the Rhode Island Association for Women in Education, is a founding member of Paradigm CEO/Senior Executive Network-a technology and new media organization in Los Angeles and San Francisco-and has served as a consultant to the San Francisco Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.

Christine holds degrees in English and opera performance from Oberlin College, and today is a member of the college's executive communications committee.

Brian Deagon, Technology Reporter, Investor's Business Daily
Brian Deagon, Technology Reporter at Investor's Business Daily, has been a business and technology journalist based in Los Angeles for 23 years. He started at the Los Angeles Business Journal before moving on to various trade technology publications. For the past 15 years he's worked as both a reporter and editor at Investor's Business Daily. Deagon has a big-picture technology focus, providing enterprise analysis on a range of topics. His journalism career began during a four-year stint as a photojournalist in the U.S. Army, beginning in 1976. He lives in Santa Monica.

Harry Medved, Head of Public Relations, Fandango
Harry Medved is the head of public relations for Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination and a unit of Comcast Interactive Media. Previously, he directed public relations for Yahoo! Movies and Warner Bros. Online, where Medved was VP of Communications for Time Warner's first entertainment portal, Entertaindom. Prior to his online experience, Medved served as National Director of Communications for the Screen Actors Guild, where he also edited the Guild's in-house magazine, Screen Actor. He is the co-author of five published books on film history, including The Golden Turkey Awards, The Fifty Worst films of All Time, and Hollywood Escapes, the St. Martin's Press travel guide to movie locations, which recently won the "Travel Book of the Year" Award from the Outdoor Writers Association of California.

Neal Rosen, Senior Vice President, Kalt/Rosen Group/Ruder Finn West
Rosen joined Ruder Finn in April 2007 when his 20+-year-old investor relations firm combined with Ruder Finn.

During his more than 30 years, Rosen has worked with many public and pre-IPO emerging growth technology companies, including those in the software, networking, semiconductor and telecommunications sectors. His experience includes preparing companies for Initial Public Offerings and assisting public companies with ongoing investor relations, as well as special satiations, including M&A and crisis communications.

Rosen was on the corporate communications staff of Fairchild Semiconductor and has worked for regional and national communications firm in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Rosen received a B.S. from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication.

Melanie Webber, vice president, Corporate Communications, Autobytel Inc.
Melanie Webber, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Autobytel Inc. Melanie Webber brings a decade of communications and public relations experience to Autobytel Inc. Webber is responsible for driving and managing the corporate and dealer communication functions of Autobytel Inc., including the launch of the company's new flagship consumer site, MyRide.com, the first fully integrated vertical search experience in the automotive space.

Webber joined Autobytel Inc. in 1999, but has served the company since 1995. Prior to joining Autobytel, Webber held the position of Vice President, Public Relations at RBI Communications, Inc., a Hollywood-based PR agency. In her role at RBI Communications, Webber managed key accounts, including Autobytel, overseeing public relations campaigns and strategies and securing placement in international, national and local media outlets.

Previously, Webber served as an Account Executive at Nina Gordon Public Relations, an entertainment public relations firm, where she oversaw and coordinated local and national media campaigns for clients such as The Playboy Jazz Festival, The Sports Club Company, Allen Edwards Salons and Lingerie-For-Less. Webber's diverse background includes both journalism and the film industry. She spent many years in film and theater production including producing an independent feature film and several Off-Broadway plays. She has written for a variety of publications including The San Francisco Chronicle and SAG Magazine.

Webber is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Communication
