Marketing on a Shoestring
November
8, 2007
Attention-getting websites, glamorous ad campaigns, beautiful
collateral materials. Let's face it: marketing can be a very expensive
proposition. Yet many companies, especially younger technology
organizations that are facing large development expenditures and
small revenue cannot afford such expenditures.
Fortunately,
there is another way. Many firms have used a combination of creative
thinking and new marketing techniques to get the same results
without spending the "big bucks." In this Impact! Meeting
we will hear from several marketing executives at companies who
were able to build a brand and generate increasing sales without
destroying their company's finances. We will also hear from some
third-party professionals who helped them do it. This is your
chance to learn how to create and implement a successfully marketing
operation on the proverbial shoestring.
During
the first part of the meeting, each member of the panel will describe
their personal experiences with low-cost marketing programs. The
second half will focus on audience participation. They will have
a chance to ask follow-up questions of the speakers. They will
also have the opportunity to share successful (or unsuccessful)
experiences they have had while implementing low cost marketing
plans.
So
please join us on November 8 for this valuable program. Learn
new techniques to help you can control your marketing expenses
and share your experiences with others at the meeting.

Robert Sax learned how to sell stories in the film
industry, where story is everything. He founded SAX PR/Marketing
in 1997 after a career as a feature film producer, story
editor and screenwriter. Robert has based his firm's approach
on the premise that there's a great story behind every successful
business or organization. A great story that can cut through
today's information overload to promote that company, goods
and services and build their business. But great stories,
like great businesses, don't happen by themselves. It takes
inspiration, planning and experience to sell your story
to the world. At SAX PR/Marketing, Robert specializes in
perfecting his clients' "great stories" and selling
them to the right audiences. So that these stories are not
only heard, they are passed along to influence others to
try their goods or services.
