Digital Content Distribution's Brave New World: Trends & Issues

The Program will explore trends in digital content distribution, at the heart of Web 2.0 and the social networking revolution, covering the rise of user-generated content and how traditional content creators such as the studios and record labels are confronting disruptive technological development in content delivery. Issues such as how to monetize content and how to ensure copyright protection of content will be discussed.

The program will include representatives of some digital content platforms, such as Akamai, as well as from the film and music industries.
