Los Angeles Overview
The class A office leasing market in Los Angeles continued to tighten with positive absorption reducing the vacancy rate to 9.2%, down slightly from 9.4% in the previous quarter. Quoted annual rental rates increased another 5% to $34, up 17% from a year ago.

Orange County Overview
The third quarter of 2007 saw the Orange County office market vacancy rate increase to 9.6%, up from the previous quarter which posted at 8.3%. The increase can be attributed to the negative absorption of 94,990 sf and the 60 buildings that were delivered this quarter totaling 1,816,660 sf.

GAME INDUSTRY REPORTS OUTSOURCING VENDOR CHURN

Programming and Quality Assurance outsourcing is fast catching up with Art and Animation as the videogame industry continues to globalize in the last year, according to the Amritt 2007 Outsourcing Trendlines Study released today. 22% of respondents said they regularly outsource some programming and 26% said the outsource testing, while two-thirds are regularly outsourcing art at their particular studios.
