Capital Presentation Submissions for Eleventh Annual Event Due August 15th
This year’s eleventh annual conference will be held September 14, 2006 at The Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel in Last year’s VentureNetÔ 2005 included presentations from Make it Work, LLC, Vigilistics, Inc., Auditude and several other A business plan review committee will evaluate each capital presentation submission. The committee consists of prominent investors from these firms: Anthem Venture Partners, Clearstone Venture Partners, DFJ Frontier, GRP Partners, ITU Ventures, Palomar Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Rincon Ventures, Rustic Canyon Partners, Starboard Ventures and Tech Coast Angels. The committee will select the 10 strongest applicants, which typically include companies ranging from start-ups to mid-market organizations, to make presentations at the conference. “Year after year VentureNet continues to be a must-attend event for Submissions will be evaluated on a number of criteria, including: · Products and services · Competitive advantage · Management team · Potential growth rate and size · Financial model (including the amount of capital being raised) · Finalists will receive coaching before the event. The selected companies will each make a 10-minute presentation followed by an investor panel offering presenters and attendees valuable feedback on what works and what doesn’t. 20 companies, including the 10 presenting companies, are also invited to exhibit in the Entrepreneur's Showcase, where much of the conference’s networking takes place.
