About the Program:

Recently, standards setters have made significant changes to the way software and other technology companies record revenue. Come to the next society meeting and learn the ins and outs of these new standards and how they will effect your company, including:

  1. Changes to what types of deliverables in a contract are subject to the software revenue rules,
  2. How the residual method will no longer be available to companies who sell their products in multiple element contracts
  3. How and where VSOE and Third Party Evidence fit into the new Estimated Selling Price Framework
  4. How to allocate revenue when a contract contains both software and non-software elements, and
  5. When and how to transition your company's accounting policies and when they impact your financial statements.
